Brea is a member of the firm’s health care practice group where she focuses on medical malpractice cases and medical board licensing matters, representing a wide range of clients in complex civil litigation. Prior to law school, Brea completed an internship at the United States District Court of Western North Carolina with the Honorable Max O. Cogburn, Jr. During law school, Brea was an intern and law clerk in a criminal defense firm, bankruptcy firm, and a large medical malpractice group. Prior to joining HMDR&S, she was an associate attorney of the medical malpractice team at a large civil litigation defense firm.
In her free time, Brea enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and golfing.
