Biography

Christine is a member of the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Healthcare Group representing medical professionals and institutions in all aspects of discovery, up through trial. Prior to joining Hamel, Marcin, Dunn, Reardon & Shea, Christine spent over twenty-seven years as an Assistant District Attorney with the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, where she most recently served as Chief of Superior Court and Deputy First Assistant District Attorney. During her tenure at the DA’s Office, she tried hundreds of cases in the district and superior court, including multiple murder cases. Her previous tenures at the DA’s Office include serving as the Chief of District Court and Chief of Appeals. In law school, Christine published in the New England Journal of Criminal & Civil Confinement and was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Trial Practice. Christine was appointed by the Supreme Judicial Court to serve as a member of the Standing Advisory Committee on the Rules of Criminal Procedure from 2021-2023.

Outside of work, Christine enjoys travel, boating and spending time with her friends and family.
