Megan has over twenty years of experience appearing in courts across Massachusetts. Megan focuses her practice on the defense of medical professionals and institutions in negligence and employment matters. She also regularly handles matters pending before various administrative agencies governing medical providers and the provision of healthcare services in Massachusetts. Megan also handles general civil liability matters, including product and premises liability cases. Over the past two decades, Megan has secured multiple trial victories on behalf of her clients in complex matters with significant potential damages. She has also successfully handled multiple appeals, including before the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals.
After graduating from law school in 2001, Megan spent a year clerking for the Justices of the Superior Court. Before joining Hamel, Marcin, Dunn, Reardon & Shea, Megan spent nine years with the firm Melick, Porter & Shea.
When away from the office, Megan enjoys competing in equestrian events, running, and spending time with her husband and their always growing assortment of rescue animals.
