Terésa served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Joseph R. Weisberger of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. She then joined the Boston firm Martin, Magnuson, McCarthy & Kenney, where she practiced civil litigation, primarily in defense of medical malpractice and product liability claims.
Terésa has practiced before the Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court, represented healthcare institutions in federal multidistrict product liability litigation, and represented non-party researchers resisting subpoenas seeking their independent medical research.
When not writing or practicing law, Terésa reads non-fiction, travels with her daughter, and researches genealogy for her family and friends.
