Tony Abeln, Jim Wilkinson and Rachel Forbes obtained a defense verdict after a two-week trial in Middlesex Superior Court on behalf of our clients, four obstetricians and a nurse midwife. The allegations in the case centered on a failure to diagnose a rectal abscess leading to a hysterectomy, twelve subsequent surgeries, and a permanent loss of function. The jury deliberated for over two days before returning a complete defense verdict for all defendants.
